Austin's House Pay It Forward program helps raise awareness about child abuse and neglect during National Child Abuse Prevention Month in April.
The Pay It Forward Club is a way for individuals, corporations, clubs, service organizations and student groups to make donations to Austin's House. Make a cash donation of any amount to Austin's House. Challenge friends to make a donation. Ask them to spread the word about the care provided at Austin's House.
The Austin's House group foster home in Douglas County provides services and care for up to 10 children from infants to age 18. The children are placed at Austin's House after being removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. Austin's House provides the basic living necessities including proper nutrition, hygiene, rest, nurturing, recreation, companionship, life skills training and education.
The annual budget to operate Austin's House is just under $400,000. These are challenging times for all nonprofit organizations, but continued support from the community is needed to keep the doors open. All cash donations are tax deductible.
