Shawn Estes, P, Albequerque Isotopes (Dodgers Triple-A): Estes allowed one run on three hits in four innings of work while striking out three in a 3-1 win over the Iowa Cubs Monday night.


Jordan Hadlock, fr., C, Cal Poly: Red-shirting. Cal Poly is ranked as high as No. 15 in national polls this week. The Mustangs took 13-8 and 12-7 victories over Pacific last weekend while suffering a 5-4 loss to the Tigers.


Chris Honer, sr., P, Point Loma: Honer was selected as the Golden State Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week after holding seventh-ranked Azusa Pacific to one run and seven hits in eight innings. He struck out seven and walked one to run his season record to 3-0.


Phil Mannelly, soph., IF, Feather River: Mannelly is batting .366 on the year with 26 RBIs, 34 runs scored, 11 doubles, two triples and seven stolen bases on the year.


Cory Eilers, soph., DH, Feather River: Eilers is batting .244 on the year with two doubles, a home run and seven RBIs.


Roman Davis, soph., C, Feather River: Davis is batting .400 with a double and six RBIs.


Niko Saladis, soph., RF, Feather River: Saladis is batting .396 with nine doubles, four triples, a home run, 42 RBIs and 18 stolen bases. He has started all 34 games for the Golden Eagles this year.

Chris Balcom-Miller, soph., P/IF, West Valley College: West Valley is 18-14 on the year and Balcom Miller is batting .244 with four RBIs. He is the team's top pitcher, carrying a 2.21 ERA and a 5-2 record. He has 77 strikeouts and 22 walks in 11 appearances, eight of which have been starts.

Brittany Puzey, sr., OF, Nevada: Puzey leads the Wolf Pack, currently 29-12 on the year, in batting with a .410 average to go with 11 doubles, two triples, 10 home runs and 42 RBIs. She has stolen 13 bases on the year.

Ryan Bertucci, soph., Chico State: Bertucci won the high jump at the Chico Twilight Distance Carnival on Saturday. His jump of 6-10.25 meters was good enough for a provisional NCAA National Championship bid.


Skylar Young, fr., Chico State: Young took sixth in the 800 at the Chico Twilight Distance Carnival with a time of 2:19.34. She also ran the anchor leg on the seventh-place 4x400 relay team (4:19.90)
