The R-C Morning Report

Apparently the Web is back up and running. If this post shows up, that will be the proof. On Tuesday there was a technical issue that prevents the stories we were posting from working correctly. That's why you couldn't read the settlement story for most of the day. Sorry for any inconvenience.

The last time to sign up for the Sierra Nevada Republican Women's 9/11 Memorial Dinner is noon Thursday. But hurry up, because they already have 150 people signed up for it, which according to Donna Baushke, is the highest number they've ever had for the event that they've been doing since Sept. 12, 2001, the day after 9/11. Retired Gen. John Abizaid is the keynote speaker.

The general will also be speaking at Lt. Gov. Brian Krolicki's inaugural Nevada Veterans Conference at the Peppermill in Reno on Saturday.
