Trinity's new 'do

Staff Reports

Six-year-old Trinity McGowan got the idea to donate her hair to Locks of Love after she noticed a child in her after-school club who lost her hair due to a medical condition.

"It was her own decision to donate her hair," said Trinity's mother Nicole McGowan. "She likes to help people and wanted to do something nice. We are really proud of her."

Locks of Love is a non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children age 18 and younger who long-term hair loss due to medical conditions.
