Halloween coloring contest winners announced

There were 171 entries for the annual Halloween coloring contest co-sponsored by The Record-Courier and Stockdale Creative Marketing & Advertising.

Prizes of $25 for first, $15 for second and $10 were awarded to winners in four age groups, donated by Stockdale Creative. The winners received their prize money and special candy bags from The Record-Courier on Wednesday. Stockdale representative Lou Anne Rohwer said the Halloween design provided by Stockdale Creative was made simple enough so that children as young as 2 years old would be able to create works of art.

"They get really creative and it's fun to see what they do every year," said Rohwer.
