The Douglas High volleyball team beat Wooster 25-12, 24-26, 25-7, 25-10 in Reno Tuesday night.
Taryn Williams had 17 kills and Jessica Waggoner added 14 kills to lead the team while Megan Mitchell had 22 assists, five aces, 17 service points and seven kills.
Bryanna Schinzing led Douglas with five blocks while Waggoner had four, Emily Garcia had three, Jourdan Burke and Christine DuPuis each had two and Rebecca Antti and Shannon Dugan each had one.
Mysta Townsell led the defense with 17 digs, followed by five from Antti, four from Mitchell and three each from Burke, Dugan and Williams.
Douglas improved to 30-1 overall and 11-0 in league play. One more win, or a Damonte Ranch loss, will give the Tigers the league title.
