The R-C Morning Report

Douglas County is working on an agreement with Carson City to provide sewer service to the north Valley commercial area that's presently being served by Indian Hills. County commissioners meet today in Stateline to discuss an agreement and a $31,500 contract to design a sewer connection. Commissioners meet 1:30 p.m. in the Tahoe Transportation Center.

Also on commissioners' agenda is a development request by Heavenly Valley Limited Partnership to demolish the Stagecoach Lodge and build two new buildings with a total of 120 residential units and mixed used commercial space. Planning commissioners approved the request in September.

It looks like whatever moisture was in the forecast for Monday has evaporated, leaving sunny skies for the foreseeable future. The high temperature today will be 75 degrees, continuing the big swing from the weekend. It will stay nice through the weekend at least.
