The Carson Valley Trails Association is conducting its 2024 Annual Meeting & Social Event 5:30-7:30 p.m. May 23 at the Douglas County Community and Senior Center.

“This year’s gathering promises much more than updates on our 66 miles of trails,” organizers said. “This year we’re adding a taco bar by Lady Griller Catering, a No-host Beer and Wine Bar by CV Flyte and trivia to end the evening with prizes. Plus, we will have important updates, a raffle, and news on the launch of our ‘Slow and Say Hello’ trail safety campaign.

Organizers said the meeting is open to the public, who can learn more about the association.

The Association is a nonprofit organization working with partners to provide access to public lands through a recreational trail system for present and future generations to enjoy. Visit www.carsonvalleytrails.org or www.facebook.com/CarsonValleyTrails/ for more information.
