Douglas County commissioners cleared the way for conversion of the historic C.O.D. Garage into a casino.
Supporters packed commission chambers for the 45-minute hearing on a zone change from general commercial to tourist commercial.
Chairman Kelly Kite repeatedly asked if there was anyone in opposition attending the meeting, but no one came forward.
He expressed reservations about the availability of parking, but said that wasn't enough to keep him from voting for the zone change.
