Location, location

Compared to most of the world, America is in its infant state. When people talk about antiques or antiquities, things uncovered from the past or found in America, those things are usually not much older than 200-300 years old.

When artifacts are discovered, they tell a story or give an account of how people lived in that day and historical facts are substantiated by its findings. Once an artifact is discovered, more historical data is collected and the location may have a historical marker set in place. Once in place, that location is preserved by law. The building or structure can not be removed or tampered with no matter how much the real estate may escalate in value near or around that location.

If you were to travel to Jerusalem, you would find historical data which has and still is being discovered on a massive scale. As the city continues to expand upward, archeologists continue to discover historical data on a massive scale below. No one can argue with historical data.

Although, America is in its infant state, Jerusalem has been around for hundreds of years and has the most expensive property on earth. If someone were to throw a rock in Jerusalem, the world would hear about it. Why is that? Jerusalem is the home of the Jewish people and it is the Jewish people to whom Jesus first revealed himself. It is where Jesus walked and talked and demonstrated God's great mercy and love toward mankind. It is where Jesus ascended into heaven and it is also the place where He will return.

When you hear "location, location, location," what does it mean to you? To me it means being in the center of God's will. Often people will move to a location thinking that they can make their fortune and own a piece of heaven here on earth, but Jesus said in Matthew 6:19-20, "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in an steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in or steal for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."

If you are concerned about location and where your treasure might be stored, may I suggest that you search and discover the center of God's will for you and your family.
