Two people were injured in a head-on collision that occurred on Highway 88 Saturday night near Waterloo Lane.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, Gardnerville resident Allison Janine Rosingus was southbound in a 2007 Honda Civic at about 7:50 p.m. when she drifted off the roadway and then overcorrected into the path of a 1987 Toyota 4Runner driven by Bradley Dennis Bradley of Cedar Heights, Calif.
Bradley steered to the right, but was unable to avoid the Honda, according to the highway patrol.
Rosingus, 21, was taken to Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
Bradley, 45, was taken to Carson Valley Medical Center for treatment.
The accident is still under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
