The Little Miss Douglas County pageant is for girls up to 17 years to demonstrate talent and win prizes. The competition consists of interviews and talent for ages 6 and older and modeling party dresses for all contestants. The winners receive banners and crowns and will ride on the Little Miss Douglas County Float in the Carson Valley Days Parade.
The pageant is 9 a.m. Feb. 16 for ages up to 9 years and at 2 p.m. for ages 10 Ð 17 at the Dance Workshop, 1697 County Road, Minden. A pre-pageant meeting is 10 a.m. for girls up to 9 years and 11 a.m. for ages 10-17 on Feb. 9.
