The Town of Gardnerville's Carson Valley Christmas Season Kickoff begins at 5:30 p.m. today with the lighting of the Christmas tree and the pavilion in Heritage Park. The event features holiday music by the Sierra Ringers and Christmas carolers, wagon rides and a visit from Santa. Hot chocolate, cider and Dutch oven cobblers provided by the Town of Gardnerville.
