Thunderstorm headed this way

A powerful thunderstorm heading northwest along Highway 395 is expected to arrive in Coleville in the next few minutes and at Topaz Lake by 6:45 p.m. The storm developed five miles north of Sonora Junction and has been moving at about 14 mph. The storm consists of moderate to heavy rain, small hail, gusty winds and occasional lightning. The National Weather Service is suggesting that residents in the path of the storm seek shelter indoors and stay away from windows.
