T'ai Chi Day is April 26

World T'ai Chi/QiGong Day will be observed 10 a.m. to noon April 26 in Minden Park. The free event is open to the public and sponsored by the Carson Valley T'ai Chi Club and Douglas County Parks & Recreation Department in coordination with the 10th annual T'ai Chi Day.

In addition to routines led by area T'ai Chi instructors, massage therapist Rick Eyester will discuss methods of massage.

T'ai Chi and QiGong are believed to boost the immune system, slow the aging process, lower high blood pressure, reduce mood disturbances and be an effective form of balance and coordination conditioning.

Information, Earl Mussett, 782-6603.
