A 52-year-old Indian Hills man arrested in December for allegedly trafficking in methamphetamine is due to appear in Douglas County District Court this morning for arraignment. John Barton Wallace is scheduled to appear before District Judge Michael Gibbons in connection with a drug raid on Wallace's home.
We're following up on a motorcycle accident at Highway 395 near Ray May Way that happened 6:56 p.m. Sunday. The Nevada Highway Patrol listed it as unknown injury on their Web site.
The chance that it is going to snow early Tuesday morning has gone up. The National Weather Service isn't expecting much in the way of accumulation, but it will be cooler and breezy. For today, the forecast is for mostly sunny with a high of 56. West winds will be 5-10 mph. After Tuesday, temperatures are going to shoot up with highs in the mid-70s predicted for the weekend.
