An open house for future wedding couples to showcase wedding sites and vendors in the historic Nevada town of Genoa is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 in the Genoa Town Hall, 2287 Main St., downtown Genoa.
Wedding vendors, professionals and location representatives to exhibit at the free event include Genoa area florists, wedding planners, photographers, food and beverage suppliers, entertainers. The event also features local bakery, room accommodations and wedding/reception site providers.
The open house is complimentary to anyone in the process of planning his or her wedding. Attendees will be able to taste foods, wines, champagne, coffees, chocolates, cakes and more from the local vendors of Destination Genoa.
The Town of Genoa is Nevada's first permanent settlement nestled in the foothills of the eastern Sierra Nevada. It is the home of the famous annual Candy Dance fall festival and is located just 8 miles south of Carson City and 12 miles east of South Lake Tahoe.
