The R-C Morning Report

Planning commissioners hold their regular meeting today at 1 p.m. Among the items on the agenda is a proposal to alter the zoning on an acre in the old Sawmill Industrial Park to general industrial for a 30,000-gallon propane tank in a request from Bi-State Propane. Also before the planning commission is an appeal of the Minden Gateway Center design review by residents of the neighboring Minden Townhomes Homeowners Association.

The results of radon testing at Douglas County's three Lake Tahoe schools will be reported to school board trustees 3:30 p.m. today at their regular meeting, to be held at Kingsbury Middle School. Also before the board today are a report on enrollment numbers and test scores.

Our wind watch has dropped down to a wind advisory and doesn't kick off until 5 p.m. today. The National Weather Service is forecasting 15-30 mph winds with gusts of up to 60 mph in windprone areas. This cold front has a slight chance of moisture associated with it. Another front is coming through on Friday.
