Carson River bank celebrates first year

Marking the first anniversary of their opening, Carson River Community Bank will give away eight U.S. Savings Bonds on Oct. 16.

Beginning at 10 a.m. and continuing every hour until 5 p.m., a drawing will be held and a $50 U.S. Savings Bond will be awarded to the winner. At 5 p.m. the final drawing will be held for the grand prize, a $200 savings bond.

Following the open house, the bank will host a Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce mixer 5-7 p.m. catered by Barone & Reed Food Co.

Carson River Community Bank is a locally owned and operated, independent bank with more than $26 million in total assets.

Located in the North Valley Plaza shopping center at Highway 395 and Jacks Valley Road (across from Target), the bank is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with 24-hour ATM drive-through service.
