Highway 395 between Buckeye Road and Waterloo Lane should now be closed for the Carson Valley Days Parade. The parade starts at 9 a.m. in Minden and marches south down Esmeralda Avenue and Highway 395. There might be a chance for those on the south side to get in through Centerville and Gilman to find a spot to watch the parade from along Douglas, though that route may be blocked soon as well.
The carnival and several events are at Lampe Park, where the parade ends.
The Buckaroo Rodeo is at the fairgrounds and the art show is at the CVIC Hall.
