Kenneth Roberts

1938-2007

There are no services scheduled for Kenneth Roberts, 68, who died Feb. 5, 2007 in Gardnerville.

Mr. Roberts was born June 20, 1938 in Buffalo, N.Y. to Howard and Mary Rose Roberts. He attended high school in Placerville, Calif. He joined the National Guard in 1956 and was honorably discharged in 1957. He worked in the logging industry his entire life. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved the Montana area. He was married to Kay Wagar, 1987 in Elko. He came to Gardnerville, July of 2006, moving here from Cendon, Mont.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Richard John Roberts and his daughter Diane Marie. He is survived by his wife Kay Roberts of Gardnerville; his daughters Debbie Halberg of Wyoming, Janice Steinbacher of Columbia, Md., Donna Manha of Fallon; son Steven Roberts of Texas; sister Kathy Roberts of Sacramento, Calif.; brothers Robert Roberts and his wife Alice of Fair Oaks, Calif., Charlie Roberts of Arbuckle, Calif., Paul Roberts of Battle Mountain, Tom Roberts and his wife Debbie of Rye Gate, Mont. Ralph Roberts and his wife Pat of Camino, Calif. and David Roberts, also of Camino, Calif., as well as six grandchildren.

Arrangements are in the care of Capitol City Cremation in Carson City. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
