Roy and Janet Crago of Minden celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan. 12 by renewing their vows in a private ceremony in front of their family.
The bride wore an ivory floor length dress with lace inset on the sleeves and bodice. She carried a bouquet of three long stemmed red roses representing their three children. The groom wore a tuxedo with a matching ivory bow tie and cummerbund.
In attendance were Cindy Terra, Debra and Don Snyder and Mike and Melissa Crago. The Crago's grandchildren are Keri and Jess Donalson, Amy Terra, Jon Terra, Chris and Toni Scantlin, Weston Scantlin and great-grandchildren Cody and Marina Smith.
A formal dinner followed the ceremony. A wedding cake was sliced and the couple was toasted with wishes for many more years of happiness. Another round of cheers and congratulations were made after family announcements of an up-and-coming wedding and another great-grandchild on the way.
