Fund set up to benefit Valley resident with cancer

Long-time Carson Valley resident Larry Caldwell has recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer which has spread.

Caldwell and his wife Linda have been active members of the community for years, supporting many service projects and organizations.

Caldwell has been an employee of Merrill Gardens for 10 years.

Friends of the Caldwells have set up an account at Wells Fargo bank to help provide support for medical bills and other expenses.

To donate, mail a check payable to "Fund for Larry Caldwell, account No. 6452569251" to Wells Fargo Bank, 1542 Highway 395, Gardnerville, NV, 89410.

Those banking at Wells Fargo can transfer funds directly into this account.

Friends are having a garage sale starting 7:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday at 3282 Plymouth Drive in Indian Hills to raise funds for the Caldwells.
