A graveside service is 1 p.m. Thursday at the Northern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery for Donald Richard Wallace, 63, of Minden. Mr. Wallace died April 25, 2007.


Born Aug. 27, 1943, in San Rafael, Calif., to Homer S. and Juanita I. Wallace, Mr. Wallace graduated from Campbell High School in Campbell, Calif.


He served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam where he received two Silver Stars, a Bronze Star and six Purple Hearts. He was highly decorated. He worked as a machinist and supervisor in the high tech industry in California. Mr. Wallace was a member of the American Legion.


Preceded in death by his parents, brother Charles Stuckey of Sacramento.


He is survived by a son, Justin Lee Roberts (Courtney Pace) of Minden, sisters Kathleen (Emery) Neves of Pollock Pines and Carol Clark of Cobb Mountain, Calif., brothers Norman (Joan) Wallace of Fairfield, Calif.; numerous nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley, 1281 N. Roop St., Carson City.
