The Douglas County Public Library in Minden will be celebrating National Library Week with a special appearance by Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle. National Library week is April 15-21. Special programs at the library emphasize the importance of reading to learn, enjoy and grow.

Children love Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle for her upside down house, her delicious cookies, and her ability to understand how they feel. Parents love her for her cures for children's bad habits, said library officials.
