Firefighters have extinguished a garage fire at 698 Bowles Lane reported at about 12:45 p.m. Monday.
The resident reported opening a door and finding flames inside the garage of the 1,500-square-foot home.
Everyone is out of the home which had active fire in the garage and in the attic above the garage according to firefighters onscene.
Stations from around the Valley are responding to the blaze.
Natural gas was burning in the garage and the fire has been brought under control by shutting off the gas. Firefighters believe the water heater exploded.
