California free fishing day set for Saturday

Hello fellow anglers.

This is a short special report to let you all know to go fishing on Saturday for California free fishing day.

Each year, the California Department of Fish and Game has two days where anyone can fish without a license. But I strongly ask you to read the California fishing regulation book.

Yes you may fish, but, you must abide by all special regulations pertaining to the body of water you decide to venture to.

All other regulations will apply.

Special note: This day will only apply to California waters. In Nevada, you will need to carry you license with you.

There are two lakes which border on the California and Nevada state line.

They are Topaz Lake and Lake Tahoe. These are the only lakes where Nevadans can fish with out a license on this day.
