Methodists present annual variety show

Members of the music department of the Carson Valley United Methodist Church, under the direction of Cindy McIntosh, will be presenting their 10th annual Variety Show on Sept. 24. This year's theme is "The 'I's' Have It," and the show features song titles or first lines all of which begin with the letter "I". Many familiar faces will be performing songs such as "I'll Be Seeing You," "I Heard It Through the Grapevine," "I'm a Woman," "In the Navy," "It's Only a Paper Moon," "I Got Rhythm" and many others. There will be group numbers, small ensemble numbers and various solos performed.

The program will be presented at 5 p.m. at the Carson Valley United Methodist Church, located at 1375 Centerville Lane in Gardnerville. Cost for the evening is $5 per ticket or $20 for a family of four or more, and dessert is included with the ticket price. Everyone in the community is invited to this fun evening.
