Firefighters responded to a home on Wales Court that was evacuated due to the smell of gas at about 7:30 a.m. this morning.
Upon their arrival firefighters determined that the gas in the stove had been left on and ventilated the home.
There was no report of injury.
The candidates' debate on Wednesday night took took an hour but was the most drama for the buck that I've seen in a long time.
Because candidates got to write the questions for their opponents ahead of time, some prickly situations forced them to think on their feet.

It looks like we're in for a long stretch of nice weather. The National Weather Service is forecasting mostly clear skies through next week. Highs will run from the upper 60s to the lower 70s with lows hovering around freezing.
