New stylist

at Shylock's

Hilary Grimes will do anything with hair at her new job at Shylock's Salon. Grimes said hair cuts are her forte but she does styling and color, as well as waxing, manicures and pedicures for men, women and children.

A Douglas High School graduate and resident of Carson Valley for 15 years, Grimes enjoys her work as a stylist and said she'll give 110 percent to anything she does in the salon.

Grimes' hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, 1-7 p.m. Thursday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday by appointment. She can be reached at 782-8389.

Minden Grill Co. will have its products available for sale starting today. The company focuses on the design, manufacture and sale of gas grills designed to be customized by consumers.

Product ordering can be done online but a delivery fee is saved if grills are picked up at the business at 2222 Park Place, Building 2, Suite E in Minden.

Some of the features include dishwasher-safe condiment tray and cutting board; battery-free push-button start; porcelain-coated heavy gauge steel grate; slide-out propane tank tray (tank not included); built-in temperature gauge; stainless steel tool hooks and drip tray.

The Minden Master Grill comes in a choice of black, forest green and red.
