The Daughters of Norway Queen Maud Lodge No. 42 will meet in Carson City at 6 p.m. on Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, on the corner of Saliman and Highway 50.
Daughters of Norway will celebrate its fifth anniversary with a smorgasbord. The Grand Lodge board will be visiting and have scheduled board meetings Thursday-Saturday. Wear a bunad, costume or Norwegian sweater.
Women are invited to join the lodge that are of Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Icelandic heritage or who are married or have been married to a Norwegian, etc.
