The Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center in Gardnerville is hosting a decorated Christmas tree display today through Dec. 29, and visitors will be asked to vote on their favorite tree. Each vote costs 25 cents.
The winning tree will be announced in the January 2007 newsletter.

Other events that will be happening at the museum today will be the Historical Society's 10th annual Holiday Gala Cookie Walk, at 10 a.m. and Holiday High Tea at 1 p.m. For information, call 782-2555.
