The Douglas County Public Library is hosting the Light the Lights celebration in Minden from 6-8 p.m. Friday, as participants write letters to Santa and letters to soldiers. The program continues on Saturday from 4 to 7:30 p.m. as part of the Parade of Lights celebration.
Bring your list for Santa and good wishes for the soldiers to the Minden Inn at 1594 Esmeralda Ave. in downtown Minden. Letter writers will receive a glow bracelet. All letter writing supplies will be provided.
Letters to Santa and the soldiers is sponsored by the Friends of the Douglas County Public Library. For information call the library at 782-9841.
