Two arrested in woman's death

Two men are in police custody after a woman was found dead in a room at the Horizon Hotel on Sunday afternoon.

Ramiro Valasquez Galicia, 35, is being held in El Dorado County Jail on counts of first-degree murder, kidnapping and conspiracy. Evan Garcia, 23, is being held in Douglas County Jail on charges of accessory to murder and conspiracy.

The name of their victim is still awaiting notification of next of kin.

Authorities will only say that the woman died from "Intentionally inflicted trauma."
