Fatal accident at 208 and Albite

A South County resident was killed in a three-car accident on State Route 208 in Topaz Ranch Estates at about 2:10 p.m. Friday.

The identity of the victim and two others who sustained minor injuries in the accident that closed the highway for a time was not released pending notification of next of kin.

The Nevada Highway Patrol conducted the investigation into the accident at 208 and Albite, which destroyed the rear of a silver sedan.
