- Max Jones' family is celebrating his 90th birthday with a party and open house on May 13 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Gardnerville. Jones is most known for the Gardnerville Food Store that he and his wife Lura owned from 1940-1963. Page B1
