2006 Summer Family Concert Series begins May 26 with the Rip Tides

Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy an evening of music at Minden Park, located in downtown Minden. The 2006 Summer Family Concert Series begins on Friday, May 26, 6:30-8:30 p.m., with the Rip Tides. The May 26 event is sponsored by the Carson Valley Inn.

The Rip Tides are a six-piece ensemble who preserve the vocal harmonies and classic, twangy surf guitar sound that characterized an era, featuring music from the Beach Boys, Jan and Dean, The Ventures, The Rascals and more.

Food and refreshments will be available, sold by the Carson Valley Active 20/30 Club. All food and beverage proceeds go back into community youth programs.
