Earl Franklin


Kleinhans


1934-2006


A memorial service is 11 a.m. May 5 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1480 Douglas Ave., Gardnerville, for Earl Franklin Kleinhans, 71, who died at his Gardnerville home April 30, 2006.


Mr. Kleinhans was born July 29, 1934, in Romeo, Mich., to Ernest and Bertha Kleinhans. Previously from Simi Valley, Calif., he was a resident of Gardnerville for eight years. He graduated from Romeo High School. He served two years in the U.S. Army and six years in the reserves and married Audrey Kleinhans, Aug. 25, 1956.


Mr. Kleinhans was a retail clerk for 45 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.


He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Normen Kleinhans and his nephew Doug. He is survived by his wife Audrey Kleinhans of Gardnerville; daughter and son-in-law Earlene and Ray Shultze; daughter and son-in-law Suzanne and Jim Helmer; daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Dean Whitlock; grandchildren Andrew, Steven, Matthew, William and Isabel; and his sister Florence Garret as well as niece Marlene Bushaw and nephew Dennis Kleinhans.


Arrangements are in the care of FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville. Cremation will take place at FitzHenry's Crematory in Carson City.

Darrel K. "Bucky" Burow


1925-2006


A graveside service, with military honors, will take place 1 p.m. May 12 at the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, for Darrel K. "Bucky" Burow, 80, who died April 14, 2006 at his Gardnerville home.


Mr. Burow was born June 30, 1925 in Pipestone, Minn. to Albert J. and Jessie M. "Booth" Burow. He joined the U.S. Navy, March 15, 1943 and retired in 1975 in San Diego, Calif. He has lived in Gardnerville for 15 years. He married Rose Mary Hoaglund, Feb. 6, 1954 in Pipestone, Minn.


Mr. Burow was preceded in death by his parents, brother Gilbert and his son Jeffery. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rose of Gardnerville; son Barry Burow of Carson City; daughter Vicki Doane of Gardnerville; grandchildren Anna Boatman, Ryan, Collie and Sara Doane; great grandchildren Christian and Johnathan Boatman, all of Gardnerville.


Arrangements are in the care of Capitol City Cremation.




John Dudley Fulton


1936-2006


A remembrance ceremony is 1 p.m. Friday for John Dudley Fulton, 69, a Gardnerville resident for 20 years. The service is at 805 Hornet Drive in the Gardnerville Ranchos. He died May 1, 2006, in Reno.


Mr. Fulton was born June 15, 1936, in Florence, Pa., to Clarence M. and Cynthia Pauline Fulton.


Mr. Fulton is survived by children Chris Ingram-Fulton and Matt Ingram-Fulton; brother Clarence D. Fulton and his wife Darlene; two grandchildren and nieces Linda Hendrickson, Carolyn Stevens, Nancy Fortney and Sandra Bee.


Boss, Burke and Knobel Mortuary is handling arrangements.
