Kathryn Nicole Kolbe and Christopher Allen Christian of Wellington are pleased to announce their engagement. The wedding is set to take place June 24 at Topaz Lake.
The bride-to-be, a 2001 graduate of Douglas High School, is the daughter of David A. Kolbe of Woodland Hills, Calif., and Laura Kolbe of Gardnerville. She is a 2002 graduate of Scottsdale Culinary Institute in Arizona and is currently testing to be an agent at American Family Insurance in Minden.
The prospective groom, a Douglas High School graduate, is the son of Allen Charles Christian of Minden and Dori Woychowski of Discovery Bay, Calif. He is currently employed by A.C. Christian Construction in Minden.
