Gardnerville couple to marry in Pennsylvania

Shana Kleckner and Stephen Snyder have announced their engagement. The wedding will take place July 1 in Allentown, Penn.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of West Chester University, a state teacher's college outside Philadelphia. She is currently a sixth-grade teacher at Minden Elementary School.

The future groom has been a chef for several years in the Philadelphia area, and most recently for the Big Water Grille in Incline Village. He is currently employed as a carpenter in Kirkwood.

The couple relocated to Lake Tahoe after a self-guided cross-country bicycle tour in 2001. They now reside in the Gardnerville Ranchos.
