Richard and Barbara Sigerist, 15-year residents of Carson Valley, recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. They were married in Saint Margaret's Church at Pearl River, NY.
They have a son, Richard and his wife Phyllis, who live in Ventura, Calif. Both their son and daughter-in-law own independent businesses. Their daughter, Lisa lives with her husband Tim in Montana's Flathead Valley north of Missoula where they breed purebred Morgan horses.
In the fall, Dick and Bobbe plan to travel back to Nyack, NY, for a 55th year high school class reunion. Nyack is in the lower Hudson River Valley where they were both born and brought up.
Dick is semi-retired and doing consultanting. Bobbe stays active with arts and crafts. Much of her activities involve the Douglas County Senior Center where she leads a group in strength training.
