Fundraising continues for Relay For Life

The Record-Courier is selling two different Relay For Life bears for $10 each. All proceeds go to The American Cancer Society.

The Record-Courier is also hosting a garage sale on Aug. 5 from 8 a.m. to noon at La Dolce Vita, located at 1561 Highway 395 in Minden. All proceeds from the garage sale will go to The American Cancer Society as well.

The Relay For Life of Douglas County will be held at Lampe Park on Aug. 26-27, and has already begun raising money as part of the $70,000 goal. Teams consist of members from area businesses, schools, churches, civic organizations, friends and families.
