Gust, Alstead announce engagement

Bryce C. Alstead and Emily Gust announced their engagement to be married, with the wedding to take place on Aug. 18, 2006, near Portland, Ore.

Alstead, a 1998 graduate of Douglas High School, and a 2002 graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, is the son of John Bartlett and Linda Astead-Bartlett of Gardnerville and Lee and Christy Alstead of Spokane, Wash.

Gust, a 1998 graduate of Central Catholic High School in Portland, Ore., and a 2002 graduate of the University of Oregon, is the daughter of Lynn and Julie Gust of Portland, Ore.

Both Alstead and Gust will be graduates of the University of Arizona School of Law in May. After the wedding they will embark on their legal careers in Reno.
