Kudos to Thrivent

Douglas County Historical Society is most grateful for the many volunteer cookie bakers from the society and those members of Thrivent for baking and decorating hundreds of dozens of Christmas cookies for the 10th annual Holiday Gala Cookie Walk. Cookies were sold in new paint cans donated by Dick's Fuller paints, then decorated and trimmed with beads and bows.
The Holiday Gala also featured a delightful Christmas tea, festive community trees and a Christmas store complete with gifts, fresh bay wreaths and See's old time candies.
We thank Thrivent for partnering with us and we greatly appreciate all those helping to make this year's fundraiser a huge success.
