Radio Rage continues in the Carson Valley Inn's Cabaret Lounge through Dec. 17, The Fabulous Cut Ups appear Tuesday through Dec. 24, Shake, Rattle & Roll will perform Dec. 26 through Jan. 7 and Monday Night Football fills the Cabaret Lounge on Monday nights. Live entertainment is presented with no cover and no minimum.
Radio Rage offers a complete spectrum of musical styles as they perform a diversity of male and female hits from classic rock to modern rock and R&B to disco and current hip-hop/pop. Radio Rage members have performed with internationally known artists such as Michael Bolton, Rick Springfield, Sammy Hagar, Jonathan Cain, David Foster, The Divinyls and more. The group performs in 45-minute shows at 7:30, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday through Sunday.
The Fabulous Cut Ups are a band of long-time musicians. Dave Gearhart, Vernon James, Dave Lewis and Ray Rodarte all sing lead and harmony on a variety of songs from rock 'n' roll to standards and from rhythm and blues to country. The Cut Ups 45-minute shows start at 7:30, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday through Sunday.
Shake, Rattle n' Roll plays authentic recreations of classic rock 'n' roll tunes of the '50s, '60s and '70s, performed live, without the aid of computers and tapes. The band features Lee Bellinger on lead vocals, Andy Highhouse on guitar, Michael Tucker on bass and vocals, Randy Bradley on drums, and Bill Crane on keyboards and vocals. With a song list of more than 500 classic hits, 45-minute shows are at 7:30, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday through Sunday (later sets on New Year's Eve).
Sports action is always plentiful at the Carson Valley Inn with four plasma screens and a giant pull-down screen in the Cabaret Lounge plus additional TVs in the casino and in P.J.'s Pub. $1.25 draft beer and $1.75 armchair munchies are served every Sunday from 10:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. and on Mondays from 5 p.m. until the end of the third quarter. There are also free drawings during Monday Night Football for NFL logo shirts and hats for the teams playing that night, Carson Valley Inn 2006 "Inn Zone" shirts, plus one-day lift tickets for Kirkwood Ski Resort. As an extra football season bonus, INN Club members earn double points on all slots, table games and keno all day every Monday.
