FOOTBALL


A.G. Reed, jr., HB, Oxford Cavaliers, England: The first half of the British Collegiate American Football League ended Sunday. Oxford resumes second half play against the Royal Holloway Vikings in February, The Cavaliers are 2-2 on the year, one game behind the Birmingham Lions in the Central conference of the Southern Division of the BCAFL. Reed had a 40-yard run against Portsmouth earlier in the year.




BASKETBALL


Pat Carlson, fr., G, Butte College: Butte improved to 6-6 on the year with two wins at the Hartnell Tournament in Salinas, Calif. The Roadrunners lost the opener 87-79 and then won the second two games 83-77, 92-50.
