Bingo will be April 23 at Douglas County Senior Center

Due to the Easter weekend, bingo will be hopping forward. Community bingo will be on April 23, one week later than the regular date, at the Douglas County Senior Center. This month the progressive pot has reached $300 and 52 numbers.

The senior center is located at 2300 Meadow Lane, right next to Lampe Park. Doors open at noon with early bird games starting at 1 p.m., and regular games beginning about 1:30 p.m.

This month the progressive pot will be 52 numbers and will pay out $300. It will grow by $50 and one number in each subsequent month.

The center provides free coffee, iced tea, popcorn and desserts. Hot dogs, burritos and soda are available for a donation.

All proceeds go to benefit the Young at Heart Citizens Club, which supports activities and programs for the senior community.

The group plays at the senior center, but bingo is open to everyone older than 21.

For information, call Armand or Lillian at 267-4897 or the senior center at 783-6455.
