Janet E. Nieve, a Wellington resident for the past 12 years, died April 12, 2004, in Minden. She was born May 12, 1941, in Waynesville, Mo., to Jim and Evelyn E. Ihde McAdow. She was 62.
Mrs. Nieve was a high school graduate. She lived in Santa Ana, Calif., for 17 years, and worked in a warehouse for Pfeiffer Pharmaceuticals.
She married Angelo Nieve in South Lake Tahoe in 1977.
She was a member of the Open Bible Church in the Ranch Estates.
Among her survivors are her husband of Wellington; children Craig and Tracey Scott of Wellington; sister, Joann Neighbors of Santa Ana; brother, Mark Zellmer of Santa Ana; 27 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Walton's Sierra Crematory is in charge of cremation. Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
