Obituary Florence C. Stucker

A memorial service for Florence C. Stucker, 84, a Carson City resident for the past eight years, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Shepherd of the Mountains Lutheran Church in Reno.

Mrs. Stucker died March 11, 2002, in Carson City. She was born July 19, 1917, in Leavenworth, Kan.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Fernley for 10 years, coming from Falls City, Neb.

Mrs. Stucker was a member of Shepherd of the Mountains and active in the Senior Center in Fernley.

She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd, son Floyd Fredrick, and sister Dorothy Frey.

Among her survivors are her son Steven, of Carson City; daughter Kathleen Bennett, of Las Vegas; brothers Loren Goehner of Belair, Md., and Edward Goehner of Hermitage, Tenn.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be sent to Shepherd of the Mountains Lutheran School, 955 W. Lane, Reno 89502.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
