Carson rifle team wins title

The Carson Senator rifle team won its sixth straight title in the Top Gun Match competition at the CHS range.

Carson won the five team tournament with 1,951 points and was followed by South Tahoe with 1,923. Fallon, Reed and Incline Village also competed.

The Senators' first team placed second overall in the event. Individually for Carson, Sean Keith placed first in prone and took first overall. Freshman Brett Bindley took second in prone and Jason Henderson placed first in kneeling, third in prone and second overall.
